Muay Thai is referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” because it utilizes punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight “points of contact.” Intermediate to advanced students will be able to partake in live sparring. Muay Thai is the most devastating form of stand up fighting.
As a black belt it becomes increasingly harder to find a great school. I learn new techniques all the time here. A wealth of knowledge.
Phil Cardela is a technical Black Belt who has been in the game for a very long time. I have had the pleasure of training with him and watching him excel as both a coach and competitor. I highly recommend that anyone from kids to adults to train at his academy!
Great place, great people. We are lucky to have an instructor of Phils caliber in St. Augustine.
