This class begins with Thai warm-up exercises, stretches, specific conditioning, and shadowboxing. Learning Pad work, control, and fluidity minimize the risk of injury. Students will focus on utilizing core body muscles and develop a basic understanding of techniques and sound conditioning. Muay Thai is referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” because it utilizes punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight “points of contact.” Intermediate to advanced students will be able to partake in live sparring. Muay Thai is the most devastating form of stand up fighting.

It still forms itself on a false perspective of true *tradition*. Yet has a caring instructor who is kind and respectful. He being the reason I gave this review. All in all: Great instructor, propaganda industry. Unless you have four arms and six legs, no two humans fight different.
I started training with Phil Cardella in Austin, TX. I was fortunate to train with him and be brought into the Relson Gracie Team (Family). I was able to train with him all over Texas, Hawaii, and Florida. Awesome Academy with great people. The place to train in Florida.
