This class begins with Thai warm-up exercises, stretches, specific conditioning, and shadowboxing. Learning Pad work, control, and fluidity minimize the risk of injury. Students will focus on utilizing core body muscles and develop a basic understanding of techniques and sound conditioning. Muay Thai is referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” because it utilizes punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight “points of contact.” Intermediate to advanced students will be able to partake in live sparring. Muay Thai is the most devastating form of stand up fighting.
Great place for adults and children.
As a BJJ lifer, I still need my Jiu Jitsu fix, even while on vacation. I was welcomed here with open arms as a brother on the mats. My only regret here is that I could not stay longer and get to know these people better.
Great school! I really enjoyed training here while I was vacationing in St.Augustine.
